John Petrucci of the progressive rock band, Dream Theater, is one of the more technically advanced players in rock music. Petrucci has spent years working on his playing style and building his guitar rigs to meet the requirements of tours and studio sessions all over the world. I put together a few videos that offer some insight on Petrucci’s technique, amp settings, and some of the effects he uses on stage and in the studio.
