Bugs Henderson recently passed away, but his music and his advice live on for all guitarists. Photo courtesy of Wikipedia.org
I came across a great lesson from guitarist, Bugs Henderson, featuring some of his thoughts about the blues. Henderson doesn’t claim to be a traditional blues player, and is thankful not to be one. He makes some very good points about playing the guitar and learning as much as possible in every style of music so you can become a versatile player. These are good words to live by when it comes to playing the guitar and should be taken into consideration by all guitarists in all styles of music. I hope you enjoy the video , and who knows… maybe there’s a tip you can learn from Bugs Henderson in there.
Bugs Henderson sits down in front of the camera and shares some of his thoughts about blues guitarists and traditional blues fans. Henderson has some good advice for anyone hoping to learn blues guitar at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwCmhKrT7Dc&feature=relmfu.
I hope you learned something from Bugs Henderson about playing guitar. None of this was to say that there is anything wrong with traditional blues guitar players, I just want to encourage you to learn as much as possible about the guitar to become the most versatile guitarist you can be.
